DALI Plugfest allows DiiA members to test product interoperability

DiiA, the global industry alliance for DALI lighting control, organizes regular Plugfests, also known as Interoperability Test (or Interop) events. Normally held over two days, these are opportunities for DiiA/DALI members to test their DALI and DALI-2 products for compatibility with other members’ lighting products.

Through this testing we aim to improve the quality of DALI in the field. Any interoperability issues we find when we system-test several products on the same DALI bus will provide us with data to improve the test sequences and the DALI-2 certification procedure.

DiiA Plugfests are usually open only to Regular members participating in the T&C (Technical & Certification) Work Group. For the first time, the September Plugfest will be open to all DiiA members, both Regular and Associate.

The event will take place on September 4-5, 2019 in Vienna, Austria.
